Vascular surgery at Peninsula Health offers management of the full range of vascular surgery pathology from varicose veins to complex aortic surgery.
Venous and arterial ulcers, peripheral vascular disease including symptomatic carotid disease, lower limb claudication and rest pain to thoracic and abdominal aortic pathologies from dissections, occlusions and aneurysmal disease are all managed at Peninsula Health.
We have had a fully functional hybrid laboratory to perform complex endovascular surgical procedures and basic open vascular surgical procedures. The hybrid theatre allows our unit to perform hybrid procedures which require a combination of open and endovascular surgery simultaneously.
