Service information

Peninsula Health provides a comprehensive service for patients with a loss of upper or lower limbs due to trauma, surgery or congenital defect. Inpatient services are available for recent amputees.

Peninsula Health provides fitting and manufacture of interim and definitive prostheses, in addition to long term maintenance, support and training. Amputee patients are reviewed regularly by an expert prosthetist and a specialist rehabilitation physician.

Locations

This service is provided at our dedicated rehabilitation centre, Golf Links Road.

Referrals come from surgeons or other prosthetic providers.
