Who is eligible for public care:
Newborn children to 12 years of age
- All children can come to the dental program
- Dental care is free if you have a Health Care Card or Pension Card or attend a public school in Victoria
- We bulk bill for Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Youth – 13 to 17 years of age
- If you attend a public school you can come to the dental program with no fee.
- If you go to a private or Catholic school, the person must have a Health Care Card or Pension Card or Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule
- We bulk bill for Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Adult – 18 years and older
- You must have a Health Care Card or Pension Card
- There may be a small fee for care
- There may be a waiting time for care
