How to access our services
The Children’s Services team is located across three Community Health sites at Frankston, Rosebud and Hastings.
Parents and caregivers can make direct referrals to Peninsula Health via our central referral service, ACCESS. With the caregiver’s permission, referrals can also be made by maternal and child health nurses, GPs, paediatricians and kindergarten/childcare staff.

Cost of services
Community Health services are provided at a cost based on income and a family’s ability to pay.
- Tier one: a low fee for low and middle income earners
Community Health Program eligibility criteria
The following people, including children and young people are eligible to receive services through the Community Health Program:
– People who hold a healthcare card or pensioner concession card, or who are a dependent of a concession card holder
– People with a low or medium income
– Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
– Refugees and people seeking asylum
– People who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
– Children in care, child protection. Orange Door and Child FIRST clients.
It also includes two rates, one for individual treatments and one for group sessions.
Fees are determined at the point of entry, and charged when clients attend the service.
