The Southern Hepatitis/HIV/AIDS Referral & Prevention Service (SHARPS) is a Needle Syringe Program (NSP) located in Frankston with an evening outreach service.
SHARPS is located at 20 Young Street, Frankston, and provide a friendly, judgemental free, environment for all consumers needing support. The service operates from 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Offerings
Offered to anyone involved in illicit injecting drug use, SHARPS offers a free supply of:
- clean needles & syringes
- cotton & spoons
- medi–swabs
- condoms & lube
- access to internet and phone (local calls only)
- advice, referral, support & information
Where is the service available?
There is an evening mobile outreach service which operates seven nights a week, covering Frankston, Dandenong, Springvale and surrounding areas.
