Men Exploring Non-violent Solutions (MENS) program

The Men Exploring Non-violent Solutions (MENS) program runs behaviour change groups for men who have used violent, abusive and/or controlling behaviours within the family and want to stop using these behaviours. The safety of women and children is a priority.

Group entry is via an assessment interview where:

  • we give men information about how our program operates
  • we talk with men about the situation, their behaviour/s & what they want to change.

Following assessment men can join one of our groups to work on changing their own behaviours. The weekly sessions provide men with access to information and strategies for choosing respectful behaviours and focusing on family safety and wellbeing.
