Aboriginal careers

Peninsula Health is committed to providing career opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within our community.

We encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates to apply to vacancies currently advertised on our careers website.

Aboriginal Employment Strategy

Peninsula Health is committed to the path of reconcilation and recognises that employment plays an important role in “Closing the Gap’ between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.

Peninsula Health is proud to have launched our second Aboriginal Employment Strategy. The strategy aims to provide support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to maintain meaningful and rewarding careers and to increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees represented within our organisation. This will assist in developing a culturally responsive organisation which improves the accessibility of our health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Please see the Aboriginal Employment Strategy.
