Peninsula Health offers a variety of women’s and sexual health services through our general and specialised gynaecology clinics.
Our women’s health team will work with you to investigate, diagnose and manage your symptoms, and can provide a range of medical, surgical and allied health services to meet your needs.
Our Women’s Health coordinated care clinics currently provide multidisciplinary services in the following areas:
- Sexual and contraceptive health
- Menstrual management
- Endometriosis and pelvic pain
- Generalised gynaecological surgical conditions e.g. Fibroids, ovarian cysts
- Menopause management
- Pelvic floor problems including incontinence and prolapse
- Benign vulval disorders
- Cervical dysplasia
- Gynaecology Oncology
- Pregnancy choices and abortion care
Our specialist team includes the following women’s health practitioners, working together with women and their families:
- Specialist Gynaecologists
- Women’s Health General Practitioners
- Sexual Health Physicians and Nurse Practitioners
- Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Consultants
- Women’s Health Physiotherapists
Our services run weekly, Monday – Friday, between Frankston Hospital and Frankston Surgical Centre. Women who would like to be referred to the service should see their GP for a referral.
