Areas of development
Podiatrists may assist children and their families where concerns exist around:
- Pain in the legs or feet
- Toe walking
- Excessive in-toe or out-toe walking (pigeon toes/ duck feet)
- Problems caused by excessive bow-legs, knock knees or flat feet.
Who can access this service?
Children aged from 12 months until the end of their prep year. After this, Podiatry services for children can be accessed through Peninsula Health’s Podiatry department.
How do I access this service?
This service is available across two of our community health sites at Frankston and Hastings. Referrals can be made directly through our ACCESS service, or by calling 1300 665 781.
