Bayside Health’s Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officers walk arm in arm with members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community to make sure you get the healthcare they need, in a culturally safe environment.
We can provide culturally safe support and advocacy across the hospital and through other community and ambulatory services across the Bayside Health region, including maternity, dental, allied health, specialist clinics and many more.
We work closely with other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations across the South‑East region of Melbourne and local gathering places, making sure you are connected to the right people and the right services.
If we cannot help you directly, we know all the pathways to get you the support you need, from community and ambulatory services to specialist medical care.
