We strive to deliver quality aged care services for more than 88,000 people, aged 60 and over, who are living on the Peninsula – a number which continues to rise.
A range of aged care services are offered, including centre and home based services, respite and carer assistance services. Services are also provided in accommodation settings, including high care and residential care settings.
Aged Care Medicine is a major clinical specialty within the Community & Continuing Care Services at Peninsula Health. Together with other units within Community & Continuing Care, it provides the complex clinical care required to assist the patient recovering from acute and chronic diseases and promotes a return to their own home.
