The Carer Support Program – Mental Health provides emotional support and practical assistance to carers who are caring for a person with a severe mental illness/psychiatric disability. They may be a family member or friend providing ongoing care or support to a person with a mental illness/psychiatric disability to assist them to manage their daily life. Carers may or may not live with the person they care for. It is a short-term program covering the Southern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne.

Referrals to the Carer Support Program – Mental Health will undergo an intake process and will be prioritised and allocated according to need. Referral forms can be found on the Looks Outside Website.
