Today, we welcomed Victoria’s Minister for Health, The Hon. Mary-Anne Thomas, and the Member for Eastern Victoria, Tom McIntosh, to Rosebud Hospital. Meeting with our Chief Executive, Helen Cooper, the Minister announced $4 million in funding for renovations for the hospital, while also taking the opportunity to meet and thank our dedicated teams across the campus for their extraordinary commitment to patient care.
Community advocate Sue Gilbert and Rosebud Hospital’s Director of Nursing, Jacqui Allen, were also present at the announcement.
Rosebud Hospital and our team of expert healthcare professionals are a vital part of Peninsula Health and our services for local people. Our team and the hospital will continue to be a crucial and much-loved asset for the community, when Peninsula Health merges with Alfred Health, Kooweerup Regional Health Service, Gippsland Southern Health Service and Bass Coast Health to form Bayside Health on 1 January 2026.
