Southern Hepatitis/HIV/AIDS Referral & Prevention Service (SHARPS) is a Needle Syringe Program (NSP) located in Frankston with an evening outreach service. SHARPS have a friendly environment with staff who will not judge.
SHARPS is located at 20 Young Street, Frankston from 9:00 am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Here you will find a free supply of:
- clean needles & syringes
- cotton & spoons
- medi–swabs
- condoms & lube
- access to internet and phone (local calls only)
- Advice, referral, support & information.
There is an evening mobile outreach service which operates 7 evenings a week, covering Dandenong, Springvale, Frankston and surrounding areas.
Who can use the service?
Anyone involved in illicit injecting drug use.
