Research is an integral part of our culture at Peninsula Health as it underpins the aim of the provision of high-quality evidence-based intensive care medicine.
The ICU Research team is led by Prof Ravi Tiruvoipati and Mr David Zhang. With extensive expertise in trial design and implementation, the team drives innovative studies to evaluate and improve ICU practices.
We lead and collaborate on investigator-led and industry-supported multicentre trials, supervising and mentoring junior professionals across allied health, medicine, and nursing in completing research higher degrees, and supporting junior doctors to fulfill the formal research project requirements of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM).
