The Peninsula Health Mental Health Service catchment area includes the former local government areas of Frankston, Chelsea and the Shires of Mornington, Flinders and Hastings.

The catchment boundaries extend from Portsea in the South, Hastings in the East and Aspendale in the North. It does not include Langwarrin, Carrum Downs, Patterson Lakes and Aspendale Gardens.
