About Rosebud Hospital
The Rosebud Hospital is at the heart of the Rosebud Health Hub – a new health initiative for the people on the Southern end of the Mornington Peninsula.
The Rosebud Health Hub provides a comprehensive range of Healthcare services from the Rosebud Hospital site, including Community Health, Mental Health, Allied Health and Dental Health services.
From February 2012, Rosebud Hospital will accommodate 30 acute and 30 subacute beds, four surgical beds serving the two operating theatres, three Mother and Baby Unit beds and three baby cots, nine Renal Dialysis chairs, four Chemotherapy chairs and an Emergency Department with nine cubicles and three fast track chairs.
Situated 80kms from Melbourne’s CBD, the hospital provides care and treatment for both admitted and out patients.
Rosebud Hospital provides services for more than 130,000 residents on the Southern Peninsula. The population swells dramatically during the holiday periods, with the peak summer period attracting in excess of 100,000 people to the Peninsula.
