About Frankston Hospital
Frankston Hospital is the major provider of acute secondary and tertiary hospital services on the Mornington Peninsula. With 336 beds, it provides general and specialty medical and surgical services, mental health, maternity, and paediatric services.
In its role as a major teaching centre, the hospital has affiliations with Monash University and Deakin University and links with other universities in postgraduate studies. During your stay with us it is possible some of your day-to-day care will be undertaken by doctors in-training, under supervision of senior medical staff. Some of your care and treatment may also be undertaken by nursing or allied health students under supervision.
