  • Carer Gateway Commonwealth-funded online options to help reduce the strain of caring. These include peer support, self-guided coaching, phone-based counselling and practical skills courses. For Emergency Respite and after hours support PH 1800 422 737 
  • Mental Health-MIND Frankston A registered NDIS provider to assist in identification and provide support options for family members, friends and other carers.
  • Alfred Health Carer Services The Alfred Health Carer Services provides free information, support and resources to carers and young carers who live in Melbourne’s southern metropolitan region. Providing Carer Gateway (Commonwealth-funded) and Support for Carers (State-funded) services to support carers to focus on their own needs and goals by providing information and assistance to connect carers with the right support services, access respite and equipment, coaching, facilitated peer to peer support and events for carers.  Also provide respite services, resources and supported activities for older people and their carers, via the Commonwealth Home Support Program.  Fees apply for this program.
