Stage 2 of the redevelopment of Peninsula University Hospital has now started. For most of 2026, construction will impact the path of travel between the East Entrance and the Main Entrance, now in Building T.
From 4 June, there are further changes to access and travel pathways at the East Entrance as the construction works progress.
Entry point
When you arrive at the East Entrance, follow the ‘Access to Hospital’ signage and yellow line to enter the hospital. The main East Entrance doors are temporarily closed to enable refurbishment works.
Pink Ladies Café Access
The Pink Ladies Café is still open. To access the Café please follow the signage to the side entrance to the café, on the left hand side of the main East Entrance doors.

Volunteers and Reception staff are available if you need assistance.
Changes to way-finding from the East Entrance
- Follow the yellow line for Main Entrance, Building T, ICU & Western Port Ward
- Follow the yellow line to the Building G lifts then take the lifts to Level 4 for Physiotherapy and Hand Therapy
- Follow the yellow and then green line and signs for Pathology & Pharmacy
