Snack company Mondelez International, known for brands such as Cadbury and Oreo, has generously donated $1,000 worth of plants and $200 worth of gardening gloves to Rosebud Hospital to enhance its gardens.
On Tuesday 17 September, the Mondelez team visited the hospital to help plant their donation.
“Our visit to Rosebud Hospital gave us a great opportunity to come together as a team and give back to our local community,” says Mondelez Vice President of Supply Chain Wayne Angus.
“I am proud of the team for generously contributing their time to gardening and donating plants for visitors and residents to enjoy. They did a wonderful job demonstrating our values, doing what’s right for the people and places we care about.”
“It was wonderful to witness such a remarkable display of community spirit,” remarks Rosebud Hospital Director of Nursing and Site Manager, Jacqui Allen.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to Mondelez for their generous donation and to their corporate volunteers, who worked alongside our dedicated garden volunteers. Their efforts have helped enhance our hospital gardens, creating serene spaces that promote wellbeing for both our patients and staff.”
