We are pleased to welcome Emily, one of Peninsula Health’s newest nursing graduates, who will be joining our health service for the next 12 months.
Emily’s decision to pursue her career with Peninsula Health was influenced by her positive experience during her placement hours as a student nurse.
“Peninsula Health has always stood out to me because of the people, the sense of community, and the support I felt during my placements,” explains Emily. “I’m now so excited to be a part of the service and to continue experiencing that sense of community on a daily basis.”
Emily will be completing her graduate year within the general nursing stream. She is eager to further develop her clinical expertise and foster meaningful relationships with her colleagues.
“During the next 12 months I’m most excited about meeting and helping so many different people – I am also hoping to level up my time management skills,” says Emily.
Peninsula Health’s graduate program is designed to provide emerging nurses like Emily with invaluable experience across various healthcare areas. In addition to hands-on practice, the program includes dedicated study days aimed at broadening knowledge and supporting ongoing professional development.
We wish Emily the best of luck in the year ahead as she hones her nursing skills and gains valuable experience in the field.
