Congratulations to Professor Richard Newton, Consultant Psychiatrist at Bayside Health Peninsula, on being made a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours List.
Professor Newton was recognised for his significant service to mental health care, and to the psychiatry profession.
Professor Newton is also a former Clinical Director of Mental Health at Bayside Health Peninsula. He is an Adjunct Professor at Monash University.
