Mornington Park Primary School recently came together for a very special assembly, proudly organised by the Student Health Ambassadors. The celebration marked an exciting milestone: the school is now the first in the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula region to achieve all seven health priority areas of the Achievement Program, earning Health Promoting School status!
The assembly was attended by special guests, Kristen from Bayside Health Peninsula, Kath Lord School Principal, Sally Gissing from the Achievement Program and Paul Pingiaro, Acting Mayor of the Mornington Peninsula Shire, who all joined in recognising this fantastic whole of school achievement.
Students opened the celebration with a beautiful Acknowledgement to Country, followed by an enthusiastic performance of their school song, filling the room with pride and joy.
A huge congratulations to Mornington Park Primary on this wonderful achievement and their ongoing commitment to health and wellbeing!
