The Mornington Peninsula is a mecca for community sport; where locals of all ages come together for some friendly competitive fun. Whether you’re spectating court side, going for goal, or simply letting your teammates know you’re “here if you need”, Saturdays on the Mornington Peninsula are usually a fun-filled community affair.
On Monday 4 September, the annual Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League awards night saw a plethora of players and clubs walking away victorious in a range of categories and grades, one of those being our very own Sarah Hose, Peninsula Health Senior Project Manager.
“We’re always proud of Sarah. Whether it’s on the job site or netball court, she manages to excel and excite those around her to do the same”, says Peninsula Health Director of Redevelopment Bridget Rusling.
“As a team, we’ve gone to watch her play several times, and it comes as no surprise to us that she won League Best & Fairest — her dedication to training and creating a team-based culture is one of the many qualities we admire about her.”
Congratulations to Sarah on her individual win for the season, and good luck to all the teams who have secured a place in the up and coming 2023 finals.
