The Bayside Health Peninsula Community Advisory Committee (CAC) met for the final time on Tuesday before the merger to form Bayside Health takes effect on 1 January 2026.
Board Chair, Karen Corry, and Board Director, Rita Cincotta, joined Executive Directors, senior staff and consumer advisors for the last meeting in the Ngarnga Centre at Peninsula University Hospital.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our consumer advisors who have contributed so much to Bayside Health Peninsula through the CAC and the wider consumer advisory framework. We look forward to continuing to work closely with everyone as we take the first steps as the Peninsula Care Group, as part of Bayside Health, from 2026.
Collaboration with local consumer advisors will continue through the three Care Groups when Bayside Health commences. The final consumer advisory structure is still under development with staff and consumer advisors from across the five merging health services.
