COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Screening Clinics Information

Peninsula Health is operating COVID-19 Screening Clinics across Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula.

Before arriving at one of our Screening Clinics

Step 1 Check if you need to be tested – information on symptoms and more is available here.
Step 2 Complete your COVID-19 Testing Registration before you arrive by clicking hereyou will be directed to an online form to fill in your details. If you don’t have access to a smart phone or computer we will assist you to fill in the form when you arrive.
Step 3 Record your URN number – you will  be sent a text message with your URN number after completing the form, please keep this safe and bring it with you to our screening clinics. You can also use this number again if you need another test within 3 months. 

Screening Clinic Locations 

If you are in the Frankston area, and are travelling to our clinics by car, please use the drive through Screening Clinic at Frankston Hospital. 

Frankston Hospital Screening Clinic (Drive and walk through), Corner of Hastings Road and Yuille Street, Frankston 

Open 7:30am – 8pm daily*

*Christmas Day, Boxing Day (25th & 26th December) and NYE, NY Day (31st December & 1st January) will be open at 8:30 – 4:00pm.

  • Drive through: Please enter via Yuille Street. When you arrive, please remain in the car and be cautious of others when driving around the area. 
  • Walk through: Follow the signs when you arrive as entry is separate to the main hospital entrance. Staff will be available to help when you arrive. Limited parking is available next to the clinic.

To avoid peak testing times, it is recommended that you attend the screening clinics after lunchtime if possible. 

Rosebud Hospital Screening Clinic – Eleanora House

Open daily 8:30am – 8pm*

*Christmas Day, Boxing Day (25th & 26th December) and NYE, NY Day (31st December & 1st January) will be open at 8:30 – 4:00pm.

The Rosebud Hospital walk through COVID-19 Screening Clinic is located at Eleanora House.

Please refer to this map for directions. Follow the signs when you arrive as entry is separate to the main hospital entrance. Staff will be available to help when you arrive.

To avoid peak testing times, it is recommended that you attend the screening clinics after lunchtime if possible.

Screening Test Results

  • You should get your test results within 2 days of being tested. Sometimes there are delays and it can take longer.
  • Patients who test positive will be contacted directly, and provided with further information on the next steps they will need to take.
  • Patients who test negative will receive a text message on their mobile phone.
  • If you do not have a mobile phone, you will be contacted directly, and provided your test result.
  • If you haven’t received your results within the above time-frame, you can contact the Coronavirus Test Results Hotline on 1800 573 222.
