COVID-19 Vaccination

Peninsula Health is providing the COVID-19 vaccination to people who meet the Federal Government’s eligibility criteria, as part of the national coronavirus vaccination rollout plan.

We are currently providing the COVID-19 vaccination to:

+ People aged 50 and over. These people will receive the AstraZeneca vaccine. (Walk-in appointments available.) 

+ People under the age of 50 who meet the Phase 1a and 1b criteria and people aged 40-49. These people will receive the Pfizer vaccine. (Pfizer vaccinations are available by appointment only.)

Please click here for the vaccine eligibility checker, to ensure you are eligible before booking at one of our clinics. Please be aware that our staff are only able to provide you with the vaccine you are eligible for, as per the Australian Government guidelines. 

To avoid delays and ensure we are able to vaccinate you on the day, we highly recommend booking an appointment before attending any of our clinics.

To make an appointment:

We have vaccination clinics at Frankston Hospital, Bruce Park Hall, Frankston and Rosebud Hospital. You will be notified which clinic to attend at the time of booking. 

Getting the vaccination

Please remember to bring your Medicare card on the day of your vaccination.

If you are bringing children (aged 5 years or younger) with you to your appointment, you must also bring another support person with you to the appointment.

Please note that due to physical distancing requirements and the size of the vaccination clinics, please only bring 1 support person with you to the appointment. 

Free parking is available at all clinic locations for people receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. If you are getting vaccinated at Frankston Hospital, please park in the multi-story car park. You will be given an exit pass by a staff member after your vaccination.

Frankston Hospital Clinic – John Madder Hall (AstraZeneca) 

2 Hastings Road, Frankston. Open 7.30am-3pm, daily. Walk-in capacity is available, however bookings are encouraged to ensure we are able to accommodate you on the day. Walk in appointments are limited and we will be prioritising healthcare, aged care, and ambulance workers for walk in appointments. General public may be turned away to prioritise the above groups.

Please park in the multi-story car park, and follow the map to John Madder Hall

 

Frankston Hospital Clinic – Short Stay Theatre (Pfizer) 

2 Hastings Road, Frankston. Open 7.30am-3pm daily. Vaccinations by appointment only – strictly no walk in appointments. 

Please park in the multi-story car park and proceed to the main entrance. Follow the map and signs to Building A, Level 2, where the vaccination clinic is located.

Bruce Park Hall (AstraZeneca and Pfizer) 

Bondi Avenue, Frankston 

Open Monday- Friday 8am-2.30pm.

Walk-in capacity is available for AstraZeneca only. Appointments are required for Pfizer, please call 1800 675 398 to book. 

Walk in appointments are limited and we will be prioritising healthcare, aged care, and ambulance workers for walk in appointments. General public may be turned away to prioritise the above groups.

Rosebud Clinic (AstraZeneca) 

Suite 5 – 1533 Point Nepean Road Capel Sound. Open 9am-3pm, Monday – Friday. 

Walk-in capacity is available, however bookings are encouraged to ensure we are able to accommodate you on the day. Walk in appointments are limited and we will be prioritising healthcare, aged care, and ambulance workers for walk in appointments. General public may be turned away to prioritise the above groups.

Peninsula Health is working on expanding its vaccination capacity. Further information will be available soon.
