Peninsula Health is providing the COVID-19 vaccination to people who meet the Federal Government’s eligibility criteria, as part of the national coronavirus vaccination rollout plan.
We are currently providing the COVID-19 booster vaccinations to people aged 16 years and older who received their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine more than three months ago.
- Pfizer and Moderna doses will be provided to all eligible community members, regardless of which vaccine was received for the first two doses.
- COVID-19 booster doses are available on a walk-in basis.
- You will need to provide proof of when you received your second dose of vaccine when you arrive. A COVID-19 digital vaccination certificate from the Service Victoria app will suffice.
We are currently providing the COVID-19 vaccination to people aged five and older.
- Moderna is available on a walk-in basis for people aged six and older.
- Pfizer is available on a walk-in basis, for people aged five and older.
Bookings are no longer required for children aged five to 11 years old. Please be aware that our staff are only able to provide you with the vaccine you are eligible for, as per the Australian Government guidelines.
Winter Doses
Following the advise from the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI), eligibility for the COVID-19 winter dose has been expanded to include people aged 16 to 64 who have:
- a medical condition that increases the risk of severe COVID-19 illness, or;
- disabilities with significant or complex health needs or multiple co-morbidities that increase the risk of poor outcomes from COVID-19 infection.
To see if you are eligible, head to the Department of Health’s website.
Eligible people will be able to receive their winter dose from four months after receiving their third dose, or from three months after a confirmed COVID-19 infection, if infection has occurred since the person’s third dose.
To make an appointment:
- Call 1800 675 398 to make a booking. You can also book online through the Department of Health’s website.
- Please have your Medicare card and COVID-19 Digital Certificate when you arrive.
