The Carer Health and Wellbeing Service is an interdisciplinary service to optimise the self-management and health outcomes of carers (aged 50+ years) of older adults (65+ years).
The Carer Health and Wellbeing Service has been developed in recognition of the importance of the role of the carer. Since carers spend most of their day caring for others, they often neglect their own physical and psychological health. When this occurs, carers may feel stressed and overwhelmed.
