Peninsula Health staff lace up for 5 km foreshore walk for The FEB 50 Challenge

Lacing up for what is sure to be a fun and exciting month of physical activity, our team at Rosebud Hospital kicked off their FEB 50 Challenge with a brisk 5 km walk along Rosebud Foreshore on Thursday 1 February.

Staff and community members came together from different departments and backgrounds, all with the shared goal of raising funds to support Rosebud Hospital.

“We had an incredible turnout at Rosebud Hospital to help kick off the first annual FEB 50 Challenge,” says Mike Miller, Fundraising & Community Relations Manager.

“Peninsula Health staff, local members of our community, and former patients, all enjoyed a sunny five kilometre walk along the Bay Trail to raise awareness for this important hospital appeal and clock in a few kilometres to help reach their 50kms this month.”

The FEB 50 Challenge encourages our community to come together and get active throughout the month of February by pledging to walk, run, or ride 50 km within 29 days.

It’s not too late to sign up for The FEB 50 Challenge or to make a donation to Rosebud Hospital to help us hit our goal of $100,000
