Healthcare Excellence: Celebrating Achievements and Dedication!

We are thrilled to share that our incredible Pauline D’Astoli OAM has been honoured as Health Volunteer of the Year at the Victorian Public Healthcare Awards Gala! Her dedication to advocating for top-notch healthcare, especially in mental health services, is truly inspiring.

Pauline’s unwavering dedication to advocating for superior healthcare, particularly within mental health services, is nothing short of inspirational. Her six-plus years of selfless service at Peninsula Health, championing various committees and projects, reflects her relentless pursuit of better healthcare for all. What truly sets her apart is her empathetic approach and personal experience as a devoted carer to her son.

However, the celebration didn’t stop there. Peninsula Health, in collaboration with Alfred Health, Better Health Network, Monash Health, and South Eastern Primary Health Network, claimed the coveted Health Service Partnership of the Year award. This recognition underscores the power of collaboration in driving positive change within the healthcare landscape. The joint efforts of these institutions reflect a shared commitment to elevating healthcare standards and amplifying the impact of collective expertise.

We would also like to give a special mention to our Women’s Health Unit who received well-deserved recognition as finalists in the Excellence in Women’s Health category for their ground-breaking Maternity Outpatient Triage System. This innovative system represents a significant leap forward in optimising maternity care, showcasing our commitment to providing comprehensive and efficient services to women in need.
