Today, Wednesday 14 December, we were pleased to be joined by Peninsula Heatlh staff, consumer advisors and volunteers to officially launch the Peninsula Health Consumer and Community Engagement Framework.
The framework outlines how Peninsula Health will continue to build and strengthen its consumer engagement program. Consumers are already involved in many areas of the organisation, and this framework demonstrates our commitment to further embed consumer engagement, participation and consultation into everything we do.
“To ensure we continue to provide the best person-centred care to every person, every time, we need to consistently engage with our community,” explains Peninsula Health Chief Executive Felicity Topp. “Partnering with consumers on the planning, delivery and implementation of services is key to delivering care that is safe, personal, effective and connected.”
