Christmas comes early for children at Frankston Hospital thanks to local Frankston family

Giving season has well and truly commenced thanks to local Frankston South family, the Jones’, who have given the best gift imaginable to children on our paediatric ward – fun and joy.

“My hubby and I were reflecting on how fortunate our children are and we really wanted to foster giving to others as the true spirit of Christmas,” says mother of two, and past Peninsula Health speech pathologist, Claire Jones. “We didn’t want this message to get lost in all of the ‘getting’ that our children were quickly becoming accustomed to.”

“We wanted to contribute to our local hospital because this is our community. The children admitted to Frankston Hospital are the children of our local area. We wanted to pay our good fortune forward and keep it local.”

The generous donation of a range of toys is the beginning of a new family tradition for the Jones’ who aim to give to other people at this special time of year.
“It’s been something we have wanted to do for a few years now.”

Thank you to the Jones family and those who have given to our health service this year.
