Referrals

Referral for 16-25 year olds is through  Mental Health Triage on 1300 792 977

There is no Child and Adolescent Service for those under 16 years within Peninsula Health Mental Health Service.

  • Services for children under 16 years:
    Provided through Monash Health Early in Life Mental Health Service ELMHS

  • If the patient lives between Carrum & Mordialloc, services for children under 16 years:
    Provided through Alfred Child and Youth Mental Health Service CYMHS

Some local services for those under 16 are available at Peninsula Health Community Health and Headspace. 

Youth Mental Health Service

Community Health Counselling

Low cost service provided by psychologists and social workers for all age groups. Individual, group and family-based counselling is available.

Peninsula Headspace Frankston

Peninsula Headspace is an early intervention health service for young people aged 12-25 years and aims to reduce the impact of mental health issues and substance abuse on the lives of young people and their families. Headspace can help with general health, mental health, alcohol and other drug concerns, counselling, education, employment and other services.

Headspace is not part of Peninsula Health Mental Health Service but works closely with the Service to ensure collaborative and inclusive care provision.
