COVID-19 and Mental Health Services
Access to Mental health services will continue to be through the 1300 792 977 number throughout the COVID outbreak.
Community services are now providing 70-80% of services using telepsychiatry methodology. The Adult and Youth PARCS services are moving towards providing virtual (online) group therapy programmes with the intention of these services not being open for residential admissions as COVID case rates increase. Inpatient services are unchanged at present.
