About Us

Our GP Liaison Unit is staffed by a GP on Monday and Tuesday mornings. Our main aim is to help improve communication between Peninsula Health and local GPs in relation to patient care and service access. Have any communication issues caused clinical concerns for you? Would you like more information on our website? The best way to contact us is via email.

We communicate regularly with GPs and GP practices via emailing GP Newsletters, if you are not receiving these and would like to please contact me and I will add your email to the private mailing list drule@phcn.vic.gov.au

Please see “COVID 19 and GPs” on the left toolbar for recent updates related to Coronavirus.

Are Your Details Correct?

Let us know if  your email or your practice manager email address changes so the GPLU can keep in contact with you.

Peninsula Health uses the National Human Services Directory (NHSD) to send outpatient and discharge letters to GPs/GP Clinics.  If your service is not listed in NHSD please register with them.

The NHSD is a government supported comprehensive listing of health and social services including GPs, private specialists, hospitals and allied health practitioners. GPs and general public can use the directory to search for services according to area or service type.

The consumer face of the NHSD is linked to the Better Health Channel website.
