Peninsula Health partners with multiple universities to provide specialty postgraduate courses in numerous specialties supporting Postgraduate Certificate through to PhD level studies.
Our Postgraduate programs include but are not limited to;

- Intensive Care Nursing
- Midwifery
- Medical/Surgical Acute Nursing
Post graduate studies at Peninsula Health are supported by a dedicated team of supportive, highly skilled Educators. The clinical areas provide friendly, collaborative learning environments and exposure to a diverse range of clinical conditions and patient complexities. Peninsula Health have a strong partnership with Monash University and other tertiary institutions. Postgraduate scholarships are also available for staff wishing to undertake further studies in a specialty areas.
Critical Care
Our Critical Care areas offer all new staff a supported induction program and clear developmental pathway in the relevant specialty. The Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department pathways include a Transition to Specialty Practice Program (TSP) to help prepare learners for post graduate studies.

Midwifery
The post graduate diploma of midwifery course at Peninsula Health is a 12-month intensive program offered in partnership with Federation University (Ballarat or Gippsland campus). Peninsula Health supports graduate diploma of midwifery students with a postgraduate midwifery employment model. Following on from the graduate diploma of midwifery pathway, postgraduate trained midwives can then continue in the transition to practice pathway to consolidate and further advance their midwifery skills.
