About the program
Graduate podiatrists undertake a two-year program, completing rotations in acute and subacute hospitals, high risk foot clinic, paediatrics, community health, residential aged care and within our NDIS team. Each rotation expands a Graduate Podiatrists skills and is backed by learning goals.
The Peninsula Health podiatry team is a high performing team who thrive on a supportive supervision structure with expert clinicians and the Graduate will be welcomed by a friendly and engaging team. Graduates receive regular formal and informal supervision from expert clinicians and are supported by a structured buddy system.
Graduates who demonstrate interest can be offered support to participate in the Peninsula Health Endorsement of Scheduled Medicines program. There is encouragement to undertake research and quality activities, professional development and continuing education with the Podiatry department.
