After a short stay as an inpatient at Peninsula University Hospital, local Somerville resident Joan Kime decided it was time to support her local hospital in 2013.
Pleased with the care she received following a successful operation, Joan joined the Regular Giving program at Bayside Health Peninsula as a way to say thanks and to give back to her community.
“By giving on a regular basis, it makes me feel like I am helping,” says Joan. “It makes me feel happy to know that I am helping and giving regularly to the people on the Mornington Peninsula.”
“What inspired me to give to Bayside Health Peninsula was the care they gave me and the care they gave my family,” she adds.
Peninsula University Hospital has been at the cornerstone of care received by Joan, her late husband, and her daughter, who’s two sons were born at the hospital.
“I would absolutely recommend people give if they can afford to give,” says Joan.
No matter how large or small your gift, regular giving provides Bayside Health Peninsula with a steady and reliable source of critical funding to help enhance our services and care across the Mornington Peninsula.
