Undergoing rapid growth

With more families choosing to call Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula home, Peninsula Health is undergoing rapid growth.

The $1.1 billion redevelopment of Frankston Hospital will deliver a new 12-story clinical services tower and main entrance, 130 more beds, new spaces for mental health and oncology services, and 15 new operating theatres.

Learning & Development

Peninsula Health’s multidisciplinary education and training unit is called the Learning Hub, which partners with staff, learners, and consumers to support the provision of safe, personal, effective, and connected care, in a diverse range of healthcare. Staff can gain first-hand experience through our simulation centre, which collaboratively facilitates the design, development, and delivery of a broad range of virtual and in-person educational opportunities.

People Capability Framework

A People Capability Framework is a tool that uses common language to identify key capabilities and behaviours that are required for our people to deliver our strategic goals and desired culture.

This People Capability Framework helps align individual performance with Peninsula Health goals, supports talent management, enhances employee engagement, and fosters a consistent and values-driven culture.

This Framework has been developed to:
