Public Health Alert – Tier 1 Exposure Site – Acute Area of Frankston Emergency Department

On Friday 3 September a person presented to Frankston Emergency Department, who subsequently tested positive to COVID-19.

After public health investigations, Frankston Emergency Department has been deemed a Tier One Exposure site. 

If you attended the Frankston Emergency Department between 12pm-10.30pm on Friday 3 September, please follow the Department of Health advice to get tested and isolate for 14 days. All patients and visitors who were in the Emergency Department during this time are being contacted with this advice. This only applies to the Acute Area of the Emergency Department and excludes the Waiting Room, Fast Track/ Paeds, Extended Care Unit (ECU) and Emergency Short Stay Unit (ESSU).
