Cardiac RehabilitationAbout Cardiac Rehabilitation

The Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation Program helps people with heart disease to live independent and active lives. The program encourages lifestyle changes that may reduce further risk of heart problems.

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is a very important part of recovery from heart attack, angina, balloon angioplasty or heart surgery.

There are two groups held at Frankston on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and one group at Rosebud on Wednesday mornings. The groups combine supervised exercise with heart information sessions.

Patients and family members are encouraged to enquire.
