Cancer continues to impact heavily on the population utilising Peninsula Health services, being the second highest cause of death or disability, after cardiovascular disease.
The cancers most likely to affect our population are lung cancer, melanoma, colorectal cancer, non-Hodgkins lymphoma, cancer of the breast and cervix among women and prostate cancer among men.
