Social Work Services
Social Work Services are available at all sites of Peninsula Health.
Services include counselling, assessment of patients needs, advocacy for patients, carers and external community agencies where necessary, and planning for discharge.
The Social Work department is committed to ensuring that patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and their families are able to access the hospital services they need. Interpreters and translations are arranged as needed.
