Monash at Peninsula

The Monash at Peninsula (MAP) is a program where students from Monash University, Peninsula and Gippsland Campuses, can undertake to do all their Clinical Placements at Peninsula Health.

What are our goals?

  • To nurture and provide support and guidance for all students coming through the MAP program.
  • To foster independence in all students
  • For you to be a part of our dynamic team at Peninsula Health
  • To support our staff, develop the skills they need to provide you with a dynamic placement.

What do we have to offer?

  • Forty-eight places for each year group.
  • Low acuity Medical/Surgical at Golf Links Road, The Mornington Centre and Rosebud Rehabilitation Unit sites.
  • Acute Medical/Surgical at Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals.
  • Mental Health and Community placements over the entire facility.
  • The opportunity to be placed in Specialty areas at Frankston and Rosebud Hospitals.
