About Rosewood House
Rosewood House is a social support day care and overnight respite centre for older people with special needs, with a focus on people suffering dementia.
Care is offered on a regular or occasional basis and allows carers to take short breaks while the person needing care is looked after. Overnight attendance is available every Friday and alternate Friday and Saturday night for up to five people.
Program activities at Rosewood House are designed to maintain social and living skills.
Assistance is also provided with all aspects of personal care.
Service hours are designed to be flexible; a few hours, a full day or overnight stay allowing carers to choose the times most suited for their needs.
Costs
Fees range from:
- $5 for a half day,
- $10 for a full day and overnight stays (between 5pm to 10am)
- $12 for an extended day.
Operating hours
Tuesday – Thursday: 9.00am – 4.00pm
Wednesday: 8.30am – 5.00pm
Friday: 8.30 am - 5 pm.
Rosewood House is open every alternate weekend from Friday 8.30am – Sunday 4.00pm.
