Breast Care Nurses
Peninsula Health employs a team of Breast Care Nurses to provide support, information and referrals to patients and their families throughout the breast cancer journey. Treatment plans are discussed at a fortnightly Breast Multidisciplinary Team meeting and GPs are encouraged to attend. Diabetes Education
Peninsula Health employs a team of Diabetes Educators to review and provide support and education to patients and their families. Bi-weekly endocrinology ward rounds take place with the endocrinologist, endocrinology registrar and diabetes educator.
